Process Video produced and can be viewed below.

I started making this layout knowing I wanted to use supplies from one of the many kits I have purchased that I haven't used.  I selected the July 2012 Simon Says Stamp card kit because I liked the sentiment in the Absolutely Delightful stamp set.  I started with a 12x12 piece of Kraft cardstock from Bazzill and made a 10x10 square of pattern paper using four sheets from the Basic Grey Paper Cottage 6x6 paper pad.  I used the border stamp included in the stamp set to make a border for the square of pattern paper, then used my Tim Holtz design ruler to make faux stitching around that border.

I matted my photo on Bazzill cardstock in Tahitian Princess.  This has a embossed dot design on it.  I used a sheet of Desert Storm Neenah cardstock to ground my layout, mounting my photos and the majority of the embellishments on it.  To add some additional texture, I used an Inkadinkado background stamp, Large Dots, to stamp a pattern on the desert storm cardstock.  Once the basic layout was finished, I used several products from the card kit as well as things from my stash to finish embellishing the layout. A full supply list is below.

One challenge I encountered while making this layout was after I put on the word "sisters" using DIYThickers and some pink glitter, I wasn't sure what to put in the space above it.  The title didn't turn out the way that I envisioned it with all of that extra space.  I added my journaling on a journaling tag and a rub on in this area to fill it up.  For me, using that area as "white space" wasn't working.  It required something.  In the end, I'm happy with how it turned out.

Journaling reads:  Another adorable picture of Casey and Grace that Kelly shared on Facebook.  They both look so happy.  Their grins make me smile.
